Due to the rapid updating of products in the household appliances industry, and the large investment of household appliances products, this kind of rapid mold change has been systematically studied in the United States, Italy, Japan and other countries as early as the early 1950s.
As a result, the technology of die changing has been greatly developed, especially in the field of rapid die changing CAD, many colleges and universities have also done a lot of work. Therefore, the competition among enterprises is very fierce. Considering the protection of commercial interests, there are few reports on the continuous mode of air-conditioning fins in foreign literature.
After investigating a number of air conditioning manufacturers on the spot, we know that Ruzhong University of Science and Technology has developed an expert system for process design and bending process design of axisymmetric deep drawing parts in the application of artificial intelligence technology in die CAD, which is the key problem of cracking and wrinkling in plastic forming simulation (CAE), die CAD/CAM.
Zhejiang University has developed a set of intelligent continuous die CAD/CAM system. The system is suitable for the continuous die changing design of 2D blanking parts. Through the specific structural characteristics of blanking parts, the anti-stale design of the die is summarized, which effectively solves the problems of die repair scrap and manufacturing cost.
Shanghai Jiaotong University has also developed a continuous die CAD/CAM system. They use interactive design method to design strip layout. In the structural design part, they use the combination of automatic call of typical structure and standard parts and interactive design to solve a series of problems, such as low production efficiency caused by non-sharing of die parts, frequent rapid mold change of injection moulding machine and so on.
