For example, in the production of a certain injection moulding machine, the change time may be as long as 2 hours or more; and it seems that the change time of a punch machine may be as long as 4 hours or more.

Therefore, many punch production managers or punch production planning believe that a larger production batch can make up for the time lost by switching, thus reducing the cost of the unit product. In order to reduce the production batch and carry out small batch production, it is necessary to enhance the ability of rapid mold change and reduce the time of rapid mold change for each injection moulding machine.
